TKCOM: LMI in China

In the framework of the project "Building up Chinese Teachers Key Competences through a Global Competence-Based Framework" (586415-EPP-1-2017-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) some members of the LMI have traveled to Chongquing (China) to participate in the closing of the training activity and in the research team meeting from July 23 to 29, 2018.

"COMPAX" project, supervising by Guillem Marca, obtain I+D+i Retos de la Sociedad project of Ministry of Economy and Competitivity (Spain).  Guillem Marca and Joan Frigola (LMI- UVic / UCC) will coordinate a 3 years study focused on looking for an effective communication intervention to improve cronic patient experience in their hospital stay.

As part of the proposals for the 7th Edition, the jury has awarded the III Essay Prize on New Media Art MADATAC to "Art and Robotics_Technology as an Aesthetic Experimentation" by Ricardo Iglesias. The book will be presented in January, coinciding with the programming of MADATAC 07.

This January 15th, 2015, now Dr. Ricardo Valente defended his thesis dissertation "Crime and inequality in Barcelona: a sociological approach to the phenomenon of insecurity" directed by Dr. Antonio Ramon Pina Bartolome and Dr. Aitor Gómez Gonzalez. With an evaluation that has been excellent by the tribunal constituted by Sonia Stefanizzi, Sergi Valera and Maria Gómez.
