TKCOM: LMI in China
In the framework of the project "Building up Chinese Teachers Key Competences through a Global Competence-Based Framework" (586415-EPP-1-2017-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) some members of the LMI have traveled to Chongquing (China) to participate in the closing of the training activity and in the research team meeting from July 23 to 29, 2018.
The Margin Project is holding a training during the whole week at the University of Barcelona before the start of the fieldwork, which will be conducted simultaneously in Barcelona, London, Milan, Paris and Budapest.
El Dr. Jaume Fabregat (LMI-UB), organizes the fifth period (February-May 2016) of "Social faces of engineering", with conferences in Barcelona and Vic: "Ideas and devices devoted to old age", "Three engineers of three generations", "Rules, ethics and moral in engineering", and "A relationship between people, the business and society".
Dra. Rosa Tarruella (LMI-UB) participates in "Return to Przemysl" in the Contemporary Art Gallery BWA, Przemysl, Poland, with Sandra Kruisbrink, Roser Sales, and Antònia Vilà.
Photojournalist Sergi Cámara coordinates at the University of Vic the workshop “Ceuta, Melilla, Lesbos, Idomeni: Refugees not welcome". It is part of the European project PRISM: Preventing, Inhibiting redressing and hate speech in new Media.
In commemoration of International Women's Day, Maria Forga has presented and moderated the round table "Dones i cinema. Esquivant desigualtats, generant alternatives" that took place on March 9 at the Universitat de Vic - UCC.
Mariona Grané (LMI-UB) collaborates with the local TV in Cardedeu (RTVC) in its project MicroTips, where local experts talk about 2 minuts giving practical tips on different topics. She talks about technology, family, and education.
