TKCOM Seminar

On January 23, the seminar “Facing the Challenges of European Projects with Asia: Shared Learning”, organized by the TKCOM, Building up Chinese Teachers Key Competences through a Global Competence-Based Framework project and led by Dr Elena Cano, was held on the UB.

The purpose of the seminar was to present some current projects with Asia from both the UB and other Catalan universities, search for synergies between the current projects and offer some directions to guide the presentation of future projects. At the seminar, the experiences of TKCOM, MIELES (Modernizing and learning strategies in India) projects were exchanged with the contribution of Dr Nicolás Patrici and Dr Cloe Ballesté, of the TPM-DTI Foundation. AMED's (Advancing higher education in the Maldives through E-learning Development) projects were also presented by Dr Nati Cabrera of the Open University of Catalonia, and ATM (Promoting Modern Talent Management Practices in Asian Higher Education Institutions) by Dr Vicenç Fernández of Polytechnic University of Catalonia. In addition, the collaboration of Ms Aïda Díaz (AGAUR), who briefed on the new possibilities for projects with Asia in the framework of Horizon Europe and with Ms Montserrat Cervera, of the OMPI. The various interventions brought together the main tips for presenting projects with Asia and encouraging attendees to open their collaborative proposals on this continent.
