Organizations face a challenge: training their workers. They must be updated, knowledgeable about new processes and new resources. And for this, various strategies are used, many of them powered by technology. And they already know many resources to do it.
In this chapter we go a little further: we will review the technologies that are revolutionizing training design today. Some are consolidating and others remain hesitant without finding their way. But all the technologies that we mention here have a long journey ahead ... in the conditions in which we are going to discuss it.
It is not a chapter on new toys to explore: you need to keep a critical eye. But neither are we going to spend time analyzing well-known technologies. The goal is to keep this chapter interesting and up-to-date even after a few years have passed. And that, at the rate as technology evolves today, if it is not a dream, it will be a miracle.
