PhD in industrial engineering, he has been a professor and a head of department at the Consortium of the Industrial School of Barcelona, director of the Master's in Pedagogical Qualification of Secondary Mathematics Teachers, director of the Chair of Human Values in Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Barcelona (Catalonia) and Spanish coordinator of the European project EUNAWE (EU- Awereness of the Universe). He is currently a researcher in the area of university education in the LMI group and he is responsible for the subject Mathematics-1 and the coordinator of generic competences in biosystems engineering degrees at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - Barcelona Tech.
