El impacto de la evaluación educativa en el desarrollo de competencias en la universidad. La perspectiva de las primeras promociones de graduados

The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of educational assessment in the development of competencies in higher education from the perception of the first graduates trained in the framework of the EHEA.

We yet know the perceptions of graduates before EHEA and we have already began to have data about the graduates' perspective on the usefulness of competencies achieved and about the relationship between the achievement of these competencies and methodologies followed. However, the study proposed in this case makes several substantive new developments:

a) it is performed with the new graduates,

b) it tries to analyze the evolution in the perception of those graduates (with a longitudinal study),

c) it pays attention on the importance that may evaluation processes have in the development of competencies,

d) it is intended not only to identify the competencies they possess and consider its relationship with the methodologies and processes of evaluation, but further understanding of these processes for allocating;

e) it wants to investigate the processes of formative assessment not only but also in the process of final evaluation and accrediting the competence of the degree (in part with the help of technological tools) and

f) it plans, based on information provided by contrast students with teachers and employers find the main points of convergence and divergence to provide guidelines to review future curriculum design.

This study proposes a mixed, part of a qualitative methodology, based on life stories, discussion groups and interviews but contrasting with those of other emerging data collected from questionnaires.
