TKCOM Seminar
On January 23, the seminar “Facing the Challenges of European Projects with Asia: Shared Learning”, organized by the TKCOM, Building up Chinese Teachers Key Competences through a Global Competence-Based Framework project and led by Dr Elena Cano, was held on the UB.

Third face-to-face meeting of TKCOM Project
The third face-to-face meeting of the European TKCOM Project (586415-EPP-1-2017-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) will be held on the 1st-5th of July at Nottingham Trent University.
Partitipation in ELAPSE
Laura Pons, a member of LMI-UB, participated in a meeting of ELAPSE European Project (KA2) on March, the 29th. The meeting was held in Santiago de Compostela. Her contribution aimed to share some of the findings of her Ph.D., as well as give some suggestions to the project members about CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning). In the evening, Laura participated in a seminar for teacher and management teams.
Seminar TKCOM Project

Starting TKCOM project
The European project "Building up Chinese Teachers Key Competences through a Global Competence-Based Framework" has been started. It is a Capacity Building for Higher Education coordinated by Dr. Elena Cano (LMI UB) with the Universities of Coimbra, Nottingham Trent University, Beijing Normal University, Southwest Normal University and Northwest Normal University. In January the Kick off Meeting will be held!
3rd. International Conference on Governance, Crime and Justice Statistics
Our researcher, member of LMI-UB, Riccardo Valente, presented some results of MARGIN Project in the 3rd. International Conference on Governance, Crime and Justice Statistics in the session Integration of different crime data sources to understanding crime. His presentation tittle was "Analyse the relationship between socio-economic inequalities, victimization and crime".
MARGIN Project: training and fieldwork
The Margin Project is holding a training during the whole week at the University of Barcelona before the start of the fieldwork, which will be conducted simultaneously in Barcelona, London, Milan, Paris and Budapest.
Florence MARGIN Meeting
We are glad to inform you that the second Consortium Meeting of MARGIN will be held on 17th and 18th of December 2015 in Florence, Italy.
The specific objective is to select a sample of neighbourhoods in five urban areas (Barcelona, Paris, London, Milan and Budapest) for the implementation of the anthropological fieldwork in 2016.
