I+D+i - Compax

"COMPAX" project, supervising by Guillem Marca, obtain I+D+i Retos de la Sociedad project of Ministry of Economy and Competitivity (Spain).  Guillem Marca and Joan Frigola (LMI- UVic / UCC) will coordinate a 3 years study focused on looking for an effective communication intervention to improve cronic patient experience in their hospital stay.

 

New Book from Transmedia XXI

We finished the year with a new publication in the Transmedia XXI collection published by the LMI.  Dr. Josep Torelló introduce us his book "La música en las Maneras de Representación cinematográfica".

The presence of music in films defined part of the ontological, narrative, expressive, dramaturgical, psychological and even historical mechanisms with which the cinematic language has articulated the space-time of the diegesis.

This paper examines these issues and completes a study of film music while explores the aesthetic relationship between music-image.

LMI has been awarded as one of Las Mejores Ideas 2015 de Diario Médico

"Entornos 2.0 de las sociedades científicas" study, conducted by researchers Guillem Marca and Joan Frigola, of consolidated research group LMI, together with researchers Lorena Guillén and Kathy Matilla, has been awarded as one of Las Mejores Ideas of 2015 in the Professional Politics category of the 14th edition of Diario Médico Awards, held on November 16 at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya. The study analyzes the 2.0 profile and presence of the scientific societies.
