El apoyo educativo es un componente clave de cualquier escuela inclusiva. Sin embargo, muchas formas tradicionales de apoyo han demostrado ser ineficaces e incluso excluyentes para los estudiantes vulnerables y sus familias. Este artículo presenta los resultados de un estudio realizado durante cuatro años por un diverso equipo investigador formado por profesores universitarios, estudiantes de doctorado, maestros y equipos directivos de escuelas que funcionan como comunidades de aprendizaje en Cataluña.

Congress Digital Humanities

The I International Virtual Congress Digital Humanities. Challenges​, promoted by the University of Valladolid, is held from April 17 to 19, with the aim of discussing the current state of the Digital Humanities and its application to various areas.

Islamophobia and the media

Workshop on online narratives: Who and how do we look? What do we see Views about Islamophobia, racism and discrimination
The lecturer at UVIC and member of the LMI, Raúl Martínez Corcuera, coordinates this workshop "Diferències?" at the Mercè Torrents Hall of the University of Vic on December 5 at 1 pm. Participate: Jose Peñín, from SOS Racisme; the youtuber Ramia Chaoui; and Iris Estrada and Raúl Martínez, from LMI-UVIC.

Starting TKCOM project

The European project "Building up Chinese Teachers Key Competences through a Global Competence-Based Framework" has been started. It is a Capacity Building for Higher Education coordinated by Dr. Elena Cano (LMI UB) with the Universities of Coimbra, Nottingham Trent University, Beijing Normal University, Southwest Normal University and Northwest Normal University. In January the Kick off Meeting will be held!

 

Barcelona Inclusive Congress

In the framework of the Inclusive Barcelona Congress, last Sunday 19th, the discussion panel  "Les veus", coordinated by the member of the LMI Ignasi Puigdellívol, with activists for the inclusion of people with mental health problems . Issues such as ethics, autonomy, work and the rights of this population were discussed.

 

P2P4L2L (Peer to Peer for Learning to Learn)

The project aims to increase the competence to learn to learn as a consequence of the development of peer evaluation processes through the use of the workshop tool of Moodle.

Apps4cav at CIMIE

Mariona Grané, Rafael Suárez and Josep Torelló, members of the LMI, also accompained with colleague Anna Tarragó, have presented the paper session “Apps4CAV: creación de un instrumento de recogida de datos” at the VI Congreso Internacional Multidisciplinar de Investigación Educativa CIMIE17 that has been held at Universidad de Deusto, Bilbao, on June 28th and 29th.
